The majority of our workload comes from teaching guests who want to try scuba diving or learn to dive on Koh Tao. So, professionalism and safety rank just as highly as customer care, and it’s on these three pivotal characteristics that we hand-pick our team.All of our instructors and dive guides take standards incredibly seriously. We don’t (and won’t!) bend the rules, nor will we ever pressure you to progress beyond your preferred pace. Patience is another of our key traits. So, if it takes longer to get through your dive theory, master your pool skills, or complete your certification dives, that’s fine by us. We take all the time you need to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to go–with no extra fees, guaranteed. Just plenty of support, guidance, and encouragement.
Meet Tangmay
Hi, I’m Tangmay! I’m originally from the Esan region in northern Thailand, but my love for people, travel, and hospitality led me to explore more touristic areas. My travels led me here, and once I’d experienced scuba diving on Koh Tao, I was hooked! When the chance to join Jonathan in running our own Koh Tao dive centre presented itself, I knew instinctively that this was the perfect opportunity for me.I have heaps of management experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for organisation. With a heavy focus on brand loyalty and the upkeep of our PADI 5 Star Dive Resort status, I take care of many back-end processes and coordinate regularly with PADI staff and our Thai marketing partners. I also love guest relations. As a hard-working mum to two young girls, I’ve perfected the art of remaining cool, calm, and collected, no matter what comes my way. In other words, I’m yet to find a customer who challenges me more than they do!

One of the most unique features of our luxury dive centre is that you’ll actually get to meet the owners. Having our boots on the ground to take care of our guests and run day-to-day operations helps us stay on the pulse and remain fully up-to-date with customer needs and expectations. Plus, we believe in leading by example. So, we’d never expect our staff to do anything we wouldn’t be prepared to do ourselves. That’s why you’ll regularly see us around the resort coordinating various Koh Tao dive courses and fun dive trips. And you’ll likely also see us at our computers, carrying tanks, and taking care of the equipment, too!

Small groups, guaranteed: Regardless of whether you sign up for one of our Koh Tao beginners dive course packages, advanced-level training, or fun dive trips, our guest-to-instructor ratio is capped at a maximum of 4. You can even learn one-on-one for no extra fee.
